![]() Again I found this thread very informative so thanks for the detailed discussion. I take it this means there is a wah effect included? Maybe several different models of wah? Is there an autowah function? I see that an expression pedal can be used with the amp. Is there an octave effect included that will allow me to lay down a passable bass-line when using the looper function? From my first acoustic guitar and recommendation for my first guitar tutor. This will not be my primary use for the amp, just an added bonus. Would electric guitar modelling amps be suitable for use with an acoustic guitar? Has anyone tried using the GTX as an acoustic guitar amp and how does it perform? I was hoping that by being able to choose the amp/speaker combo I can make a patch that will allow my acoustic to sound as natural as possible. Mustang LT50 is a fun, flexible and easy-to-use modeling amp for any. I cant go try one out in person for obvious reasons so I have read every article and watched every video I can, including reading every page of this thread (which is full of useful information so thank you for that) but I still have a couple of questions. Youll also have access to a wealth of exciting presets from the Fender Tone community. ![]() I was considering getting a GT100 for a while and now that the GTX has been released I am very insterested in getting one. (paraphrasing) Well, DUH! You don't create your own presets, no wonder it's not for you ! It would be like buying a tube amp and leaving all the knobs where they were when you pull it out of the box then declaring it mediocre. And did u hear what he 's not that bad, but it's not for me. 's utterly ridiculous to just pretty much any modeler on it s stock presets. His judgement of the amp then is like buying a picture frame and leaving the stock sample picture in it and calling it mediocre because the picture sucks. Demos are just all over the map.īut it seems he used stock presets. It's that tone that just rips yet it's a lot less overdrive than you would expect as everyone always says about Angus' tone. I'm getting a really good AC/DC or billy squier kind of old school marshall tone thats just fabulous. People will watch them and hear something like that JCM800 patch and think the amp is garbage. So you really gotta tweak the presets them and for your guitars and tonal preferences because if you don't you will be very disappointed. His opinion of it was about the same as mine. Not remotely close to what i get from it. ![]() If that was the best tone i could get from it i'd take the amp back immediately ! Yet at the moment i am seriously thinking the 800 might now be my fav model. When he played the JCM800 model that i just went bonkers over the other day after discovering how much better it sounds than in the past, his demo of it was hideous to my ear. Heres a good example (elmo) of how radically different things can be with different guitars, different players, and most of all stock presets. The new Fender Mustang V.2 amplifier series raises the standard for modern guitar versatility and muscle, including new amp models, new effects and.
